Strengthening Clean Energy Production with Our Solar Power Plant (SPP) Projects
In line with our vision for a sustainable future, our company continues to invest in renewable energy without slowing down. Through our solar power plant (SPP) projects implemented in Kındam Neighborhood, Kırşehir Central District, we are proud to contribute to environmentally friendly, locally generated, and sustainable energy production.
Commissioned on July 15, 2023, our Tutgu SPP and Doku SPP facilities continue to operate successfully with a combined installed capacity of 10.05 MW. With a total annual electricity generation capacity of 20.1 GWh, these plants convert clean solar energy into economic value while contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions and the more efficient use of energy resources.
Established on an 80-decare site in Kındam Neighborhood, Tutgu SPP has an installed capacity of 5.25 MW and generates approximately 10.5 GWh of electricity annually. Doku SPP, operating on a 72-decare site, has an installed capacity of 4.8 MW and produces approximately 9.6 GWh of electricity each year.
In line with our renewable energy growth strategy, we are continuing the planning process for our Duygu SPP project in the same region, with commissioning targeted for early 2027. Once completed, the facility will have an installed capacity of 3.5 MW and an annual generation capacity of 7 GWh. With the addition of Duygu SPP, the total installed capacity of our Kındam SPP projects will reach 13.55 MW, while annual electricity generation capacity will increase to 27.1 GWh.
Through our solar energy investments, we are not only generating electricity but also implementing a vision that supports environmental sustainability, contributes to energy independence, and helps create a more livable world for future generations. We will continue to support Türkiye's green transformation by investing in clean energy and creating value in the renewable energy sector.
Looking ahead, our company aims to further expand its renewable energy investments, contribute to sustainable development goals, and strengthen its clean energy generation capacity. We believe that every investment we make in this direction creates lasting environmental and economic value for our country.
