The opening ceremony of Nissara Shopping Mall, located on Milli İrade Avenue in Nevşehir, was attended by Nevşehir Governor İlhami Aktaş, Aksaray Governor Aykut Pekmez, AK Party Nevşehir Members of Parliament Mustafa Açıkgöz and Ebubekir Gizligider, Mayor Hasan Ünver, Provincial Police Chief Mehmet Artunay, İsmail Doğan, Chairman of the Board of Duygu Engineering & Construction Ltd., Vice Chairman and General Manager Yavuz Karslıoğlu, along with numerous public officials and distinguished guests.

Prior to the official opening ceremony, members of the protocol were presented with a slideshow introducing the development and construction process of Nissara Shopping Mall. Following a reception, guests toured the shopping mall and received detailed information about its facilities and services from company representatives.

Before and after the ceremony, the Nevşehir Municipality Mehter Band performed traditional military marches, adding a ceremonial atmosphere to the event.

A Significant Contribution to the City's Economy

Speaking at the ceremony, which was attended by a large number of citizens, Nevşehir Mayor Hasan Ünver recalled that when he first took office, young people frequently expressed the need for modern spaces where they could shop, socialize, and spend quality time together. He stated, "Today, we are delighted to open our city's second shopping mall—something many cities with similar populations do not yet have. I wish it great success. The people of Nevşehir are always open to innovation, and that makes me proud. I believe this new shopping mall, where residents can shop, relax, dine, and enjoy time with their families and friends, will also make a significant contribution to the local economy. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to bringing this project to life."

Set to Become One of the City's Main Attractions

AK Party Nevşehir Member of Parliament Ebubekir Gizligider described Nissara Shopping Mall as an important investment for the city and a project eagerly anticipated by local residents. He stated, "We believe this center will soon become one of the most popular destinations for our citizens while adding significant value to our city. I would like to thank the management of Duygu Engineering & Construction for undertaking such a major investment and bringing this remarkable project to Nevşehir. May it be beneficial for our city and our people."

AK Party Nevşehir Member of Parliament Mustafa Açıkgöz also emphasized that Nissara Shopping Mall would serve not only as a shopping destination but also as a social gathering place, adding substantial value to Nevşehir, and wished the project continued success.

Following the speeches, Nevşehir Governor İlhami Aktaş, Aksaray Governor Aykut Pekmez, Members of Parliament Mustafa Açıkgöz and Ebubekir Gizligider, Mayor Hasan Ünver, Provincial Police Chief Mehmet Artunay, Chairman İsmail Doğan, and Vice Chairman & General Manager Yavuz Karslıoğlu officially inaugurated Nissara Shopping Mall with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The combined construction area of Nissara Shopping Mall and Crowne Plaza Hotel covers approximately 140,000 m². With its extensive leasable space, Nissara Shopping Mall is regarded as one of the largest shopping centers serving the Nevşehir, Niğde, Aksaray, and Kırşehir region. Developed by Ankara-based Duygu Engineering & Construction as a mixed-use project, the complex represents a USD 55 million investment designed to elevate the region's retail and lifestyle experience.

Nissara Shopping Mall is home to nearly 85 national and international brands, a 7-screen cinema complex, terrace cafés and restaurants, a food court with seating for 1,000 guests, and extensive children's entertainment and play areas, making it one of the region's premier lifestyle destinations.
